[11.05.2023] We have detected an TEXT MESSAGE phishing attack aimed at phishing Allegro account login details.

The fake message informs you that there has been an alleged sale of the item and a payment from the buyer, which should be collected by click on the provided link.

Click on the link will redirect you to a fake Allegro website where you will be tricked into providing your Allegro login and electronic banking details. This may result in the loss of funds from your account and access to your Allegro account.

Allegro never informs text message about the payment from the buyer, nor does it require clicking on any link in the Messages to collect these funds . Payments from buyers are automatically transferred to the Allegro Finance current balance and do not require any confirmation.
